Hypofractionated radiation therapy for breast cancer: Preferences amongst radiation oncologists in Europe - Results from an international survey

Ivica Ratosa et al.

Summary: This study aimed to assess the prescription preference of hypofractionated radiation therapy for breast cancer patients among radiation oncologists in Europe and identified restraints on its utilization. The results showed that the implementation of hypofractionated radiation therapy in routine clinical practice across Europe varies for numerous reasons, with factors such as academic affiliation, geographical location, and clinical time allocation being associated with preference for HFRT.
