The effects of non-invasive brain stimulation on sleep disturbances among different neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions: A systematic review

Alberto Herrero Babiloni et al.

Summary: Sleep disturbances and poor sleep quality are major health concerns in various neurological and neuropsychiatric clinical conditions. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) have the potential to improve insomnia symptoms and sleep disturbances across different types of diseases, although more research is needed to reduce bias and optimize brain stimulation parameters.
