Experimental and simulated studies were conducted on a piezoelectric ceramic, showing that the activation energy for relaxation and conduction & relaxation times can be estimated directly. The proposed equations can be directly applied for simulation of data instead of using well-known laws like Arrhenius law, modified Arrhenius law and Chen et al. law.
[Ba(Nd0.1Ti0.8Nb0.1)O-3](0.40)[(Na0.5Bi0.5)TiO3](0.40)[CaTiO3](0.20) ceramic was prepared through solid state double sintering route. Dielectric, Impedance and Resistivity studies were carried out on this piezoelectric ceramic experimentally and by simulating the data using the new equations proposed by us earlier and in the present case. Through simulation it was shown to estimate the activation energy for relaxation and conduction & relaxation times directly from the plots. These proposed equations can be directly applied for simulation of data instead of well known laws like Arrhenius law, modified Arrhenius law and Chen et al. law which are indirect ways to do so.
