Why Have Sleep Problems in Later-Midlife Grown Following the Great Recession? A Comparative Cohort Analysis

Summary: This research compares sleep problems among three cohorts of individuals in their fifth decade of life, finding that cohorts following the Great Recession experienced greater sleep problems, especially among women. The study suggests that economic burdens postrecession contribute significantly to inter-cohort differences in sleep problems.
