Summary: The study proposed an intelligent model, ANFIS, to estimate tool wear, which showed better performance compared with other intelligent models. Additionally, the VCPSO algorithm was used to obtain the best combinations of milling parameters based on minimum cutting power, surface roughness, and maximum MRR.
