Anxiety and depression and its correlates in patients with coronavirus disease 2019 in Wuhan

Summary: This study found a high prevalence of depression and anxiety among patients with COVID-19, with females more likely to experience depression. Patients with family members diagnosed or deceased from COVID-19 were also more likely to have higher levels of depression and anxiety. Effective strategies should be implemented to improve the mental health of this patient population.
