Sustainable solid-state synthesis of uniformly distributed PdAg alloy nanoparticles for electrocatalytic hydrogen oxidation and evolution

Caili Xu et al.

Summary: A sustainable synthesis strategy for PdAg alloy nanoparticles was developed using solid-state methods without the need for solvents or organic reagents. The resulting alloy nanoparticles show clean surfaces, abundant active sites, and high intrinsic activity, making them excellent electrocatalysts for hydrogen oxidation and evolution reactions. The scalable solid-state strategy demonstrated in this study has the potential for synthesizing a wide range of well-defined SMACs for diverse applications.
