Using dispatchable energy price to influence renewable penetration in chemical production

Chao Chen

Summary: The use of dispatchable energy in a renewable power system is crucial and the dispatchable energy price has a significant impact on renewable penetration. The study reveals that the renewable penetration increases dramatically at the beginning and slowly approaches 100% as the dispatchable energy price exceeds a critical point.
