Nexus between willingness to pay for renewable energy sources: evidence from Turkey

Summary: The willingness to pay for green electricity among Turkish citizens is influenced by income and age, with middle-income groups showing a higher willingness to pay for renewable energy and high-income and elderly groups indicating positive willingness to pay for a higher share of renewable energy. Lower educational groups also demonstrate significant results in terms of willingness to pay.
