A comparative study of regression, neural network and neuro-fuzzy inference system for determining the compressive strength of brick-mortar masonry by fusing nondestructive testing data

Mayank Mishra et al.

Summary: This study presents a methodology for predicting the compressive strength of masonry structures using data fusion systems based on nondestructive testing. Experimental results show that both neural network and neuro-fuzzy inference system have superior predictive capacity compared to other models, making them reliable for evaluating the compressive strength of brick-mortar masonry structures.
