Longitudinal relationships between cognition and functioning over 2 years in euthymic patients with bipolar disorder: a cross-lagged panel model approach with the FACE-BD cohort

Mickael Ehrminger et al.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the causal relationship between cognition and functioning in euthymic patients with bipolar disorder over a two-year period. The results showed that cognition moderately predicts functional outcome one year later, while psychosocial functioning does not predict later cognitive performance.
