A new quantitative method is proposed in this paper for determining the single state number of the beam carrying Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) based on analysis of the S21 system parameter. The experiment was conducted on a computer model, simulating beams with different state numbers and utilizing software products CST Studio for parameter determination and Matlab for visualization of beams with different OAM states.
In this paper, a new quantitative method is proposed for determining the single state number of the beam carry Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) based on analysis of the S21 system parameter. This allows the receiving device to be tuned to receive beams with a specific OAM state. Radio waves carry OAM have a frequency of 80 GHz. The work is an experiment on a computer model. Simulation of beams with different state numbers, as well as determination of S system parameters, is carried out using the software product CST Studio. Visualization and determination of beams with different OAM states and was produced by means of the software product Matlab.
