Synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles and their functionalisation with chrysin: exploration of its applications

Summary: In this study, eco-friendly flavone was used to functionalise zinc oxide nanoparticles, developing a green synthesis method. The nanoparticles showed efficient colorimetric sensing ability for humic acid detection, and were sufficient for rapid detection of biomass in soil and fertilizer content.
