In this paper, applying homoclinic test approach to a (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation, new kink breather soliton solutions are obtained. In addition, some new multi-soliton solutions are obtained via three-wave method. It is shown that the homoclinic test approach and the three-wave method can be used for constructing multi-soliton solutions of nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.
