This case illustrates the potential benefit of using anakinra in the treatment of pyoderma gangrenosum concurrently with local suppurative disease.
The case of a patient with pyoderma gangrenosum and exacerbation after an intense massage is reported. After different immunosuppressive therapies and former diagnosis of hidradenitis suppurativa in his medical history the patient underwent therapy with anakinra 100mg per day and showed good improvement of his ulcers.
