Co-precipitation and solid-state reaction techniques were used to synthesize BaFe12O19 nanoparticles and (BaFe12O19)x(Bi,Pb)-2223 superconducting samples, with 0.00 <= x(wt%) <= 1.5, respectively. Hard ferromagnetic BaFe12O19 nanoparticles had hexagonal structure with an average size of 63 nm. The structure of the superconducting samples reveal that the added nanoparticles settled at the grain boundaries without altering the host structure superconductors. The elemental composition of the samples is investigated using proton induced X-ray emission. The superconducting transition temperature (T-c) and the critical current density (J(c)) were enhanced up to x = 0.5 wt%. The maximum values of dielectric properties of (BaFe12O19)(x)(Bi,Pb)-2223 were found at lower frequencies and higher temperatures.
