In this work, the interfacial properties in polymer blend nanocomposites are calculated by micromechanical modeling of experimental tensile strength and modulus. Also, the effects of nanofiller content on the interfacial properties are determined. The calculated results demonstrate the good interfacial properties in the samples containing low nanofiller concentrations. However, the incorrect calculations of interfacial parameters are reported in the ternary nanocomposites which show the decreased tensile strength at high nanofiller concentrations. It is concluded that some undesirable phenomena at high nanofiller contents such as the aggregation of nanoparticles may deteriorate the predictability of the micromechanical models.
