The Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs) is promising technology toward the Internet of Things(IoTs). Therefore, the routing protocols of WSN should be able to achieve real-time, reliability, which are typical requirements for IoT applications. In the literature, many multipath routing protocols are exploited to achieve the requirements, however, they have the constraints of energy consumption and scale owing to the participation of many nodes to maintain a large number of paths. These constraints would degrade the performance of IoTs services used in various environments. To address this issue, we propose the routing scheme to enable cooperation among the paths with a bridge node. As the bridge node observes the packet transmission on the path, it could prevent and recover the detected problems such as transmission failure and delay. That is, the multipath is reinforced through the cooperation by inter path communication based on the bridge node. As a result, the proposed scheme could achieve real-time, reliability at WSN which is exploited for IoT applications, while also resolving restrictions on energy consumption by using less number of paths.
