Nanogold modified glassy carbon electrode has been fabricated for electrochemical sensing of chlorogenic acid (CGA). The electrochemical properties and morphology of the prepared nanocomposite were studied by elec- trochemical impedance (EIS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The response of the voltammetric sensor was found to be linear with concentration of CGA in the range of 0.4 -3.6 mu g mL(-1) with detection limit of 0.0140 mu g mL(-1) . The proposed method was also applied for the estimation of CGA in real samples.
