Pinus Yunnanensisvar.pygmaea(Fam: pinaceae; Gen:Pinus), is a mutant ofPinus yunnanensis. Franch. To contribute to its conservation, the complete chloroplast (cp) genome ofP. yunnanensisvar.Pygmaeawas sequenced and assembled by high-throughput sequencing technology. The results show thatP. yunnanensisvar.pygmaea cpgenome contained 101 genes, including 64 protein-coding genes, 33tRNAgenes, and fourrRNAgenes. The overall GC content of thecpgenome is 38.50%. A phylogenetic tree reconstructed by 16 cpgenomes reveals thatP. yunnanensisvar.pygmaeais most related withPinus taiwanensis.
