Summary: The study evaluated the toxicological impacts of waterborne engineered copper nanoparticles on the gills of common carp, showing alterations in gill histology and oxidative stress parameters in a dose-dependent manner. Exposure to waterborne Cu-NPs was found to be toxic to the aquatic organisms, as indicated by the oxidative stresses and histological alterations in the freshwater fish.
