Performance of Coconut Shell Alkali-Activated Concrete: Experimental Investigation and Statistical Modelling

Efe Ewaen Ikponmwosa et al.

Summary: This study investigates the performance of concrete made with coconut shell ash as partial replacement of Portland cement through experimental and statistical methods. Experimental results show an increase in compressive strength and split tensile strength with an increase in sodium hydroxide concentration. Statistical models developed demonstrate good agreement with the experimental results.
