Removal of pharmaceuticals from wastewater using magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (IOPs)

Summary: This paper reports the adsorption performance of iron oxide nanoparticles for the removal of oxcarbazepine drug from wastewater. The results show that the adsorption of oxcarbazepine onto iron oxide nanoparticles is a spontaneous and endothermic process.
