Silicon and nitric oxide-mediated mechanisms of cadmium toxicity alleviation in wheat seedlings

Summary: This study investigates the effects of silicon (Si) and nitric oxide (NO) on mitigating cadmium (Cd) toxicity in wheat seedlings. The results show that the combination of Si and NO significantly improves seedling growth by reducing Cd accumulation, oxidative stress markers, and improving leaf and root structures.
