Meteorium flexicaule Wils. in Hook. and Aligrimmia peruviana R.S. Williams are newly recorded for the Mexican moss flora. The former is briefly described and illustrated from a collection in San Luis Potosi (Ahuacatlan); the latter was collected in Nevado de Toluca, state of Mexico. Previous continental reports for both species are South American.
