In this paper, the pth moment exponential stability and almost surely exponential stability of stochastic Hopfield neural networks with discrete and distributed delays are investigated. Some previous works are improved and extended. Our approach is based on constructing a class of integral inequalities and differ-ential inequalities, as well as stochastic analysis techniques. Our results neither require to construct a complicated Lyapunov function nor the differentiability of the delay function. In addition, two examples with their simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the main results. (C) 2020 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
