In order to obtain the SiO2 film with concave-convex structures by sol-gel and dip-coating, the sol mixing method was used. The effects of the sol mixing ratio on the microstructure, contact angle and transmittance of films were studied. The results show that the sol mixing significantly improved the roughness, contact angle and transmittance of SiO2 films. As the ratio of the large-sized nano-SiO2 particles increased, the contact angle and the transmittance of the film first increased and then decreased. Finally, the hydrophobic SiO2 film with the contact angle of 141.38 degrees and the transmittance of 97.55% within 380-1100 nm was prepared.
