This work describes a single-stage method for the removal of chlorine-containing species from water using a catalytic membrane reactor based on Pd-loaded porous polypropylene hollow fiber membranes. The kinetics of this process is characterized. The degree of water purification is shown to be not less than 98%. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
