Summary: Bayesian networks are powerful for identifying causal relationships, but as network size grows, the time complexity of searching optimal structures increases exponentially. The new FFBN algorithm significantly accelerates the computational speed by using fewer model configuration rules. FFBN outperforms existing methods in constructing large-scale gene regulatory networks and discovering unique molecular mechanisms in cancer types.
