Ligandless dispersive solid phase extraction of cobalt ion using magnetic graphene oxide as an adsorbent followed by its determination with electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry

Summary: In this study, ligandless dispersive solid phase extraction technique was used to successfully preconcentrate and determine cobalt ion. Magnetic graphene oxide was synthesised from graphene oxide by chemical magnetisation and used as an efficient adsorbent for solid phase extraction. The method showed high precision and low detection limit for accurate determination of trace levels of cobalt ion in various real samples.

Fabrication of magnetic zeolitic imidazolate framework-7 supported graphene oxide for the extraction of fungicides from environmental water and soil samples

Summary: A facile method to prepare magnetic zeolitic imidazolate framework-7@graphene oxide composites with the assistance of polydopamine is reported in this study. The composites show potential for extracting fungicides from environmental water and soil samples. The sensitive magnetic solid-phase extraction method based on these composites exhibits good linearity, repeatability, and reproducibility.
