The effects of temperature, collision frequency and their combined effect on the large amplitude electrostatic waves are investigated in small, moderate and strong nonlinear cases. It is shown that the singularity in the equation of density evolution can be removed not only by selecting an appropriate time independent collision frequency, but also it can be eliminated under certain conditions by taking into account the temperature effect. Dependence of the perturbation sign on the waveform of non-sinusoidal waves is also studied for the case of strong, moderate and small density perturbations.
