In this study, a simple electrospinning approach has been utilized in order to synthesize novel ZnO/ZnFe2O4/Pt nanoparticles heterojunctions of diverse ZnO/ZnFe2O4 proportions. The fabricated heterojunctions displayed enlarged photocatalytic achievement towards diverse processes as compared with all ingredients (ZnFe2O4, ZnO/ZnFe2O4, and ZnFe2O4/Pt). The improved achievement could be correlated to the multicomponent heterojunctions (MHs) synergism that could automatically boost the absorption capabilities, discourage the reconsolidation of e-hole couples and induce the photo-developed transporter separation. All these considerations could point to an efficient reaction through the adequate origination of holes and electrons with forceful oxidation and reduction capabilities, respectively. Moreover, ZnO dose has been varied in order to investigate the heterojunctions' number impact on the photocatalytic efficiency. This research investigates the photocatalytic achievement of spinel ZnFe2O4 for diverse applications. In fact, degradation of ciprofloxacin (CIP) has been considered as an example of these applications.
