An elliptical ring shaped fractal super wideband antenna at terahertz frequencies is investigated in this paper. The antenna consists of a microstrip line fed second iterative elliptical ring radiator placed asymmetrical to the partial rectangular ground plane. The proposed antenna has an impedance bandwidth of 9 THz from 0.3 to 9.3 THz for VSWR <= 2 and overall volume of 800 mu m x 600 mu m x 81.29 mu m Distorted omnidirectional radiation patterns in both E & H planes are observed. A peak realized gain of 9.5 dB is achieved. The antenna geometry is analyzed on HFSS simulator.
