AuPd alloy nanoparticles (NPs) immobilized on graphitic carbon nitride sheets (AuPd/g-C3N4) were used as an effective the Mott-Schottky-type photocatalyst for the visible-light-enhanced Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling (SMC) reaction at room temperature. The Mott-Schottky-type photocatalyst in the coupling of IB and PBA displayed the high turnover frequency of 7920 h(-1), even at low irradiation intensity (50 mW cm(-2)), at room temperature. The synthesized photocatalyst could be recovered and reused six times without any loss of photoactivity. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
