Summary: Alumina-zirconia composite prepared by combustion method showed efficient removal of Congo red and Methylene blue from aqueous solutions, with adsorption mechanism influenced by pH. Adsorption kinetics followed Pseudo-second-order model, and isotherm models were Langmuir and Liu models.
