Nowadays, one of the innovative solutions to supply the load with an acceptable level of security and affordability is microgrid development. In this context, this paper develops an operational model for a grid-connected microgrid with various generation resources (Photovoltaic (PV), Wind Turbine (WT), and Diesel Generator (D rovided by the storage units. To solve the proposed model, a set of Pareto solutions is obtained first by using the weighted sum approach. Then, by exerting the paired comparison matrix and ELECTRE method, best operation status is achieved based on the operator preferences. This model can be easily employed for each system. The optimization problem is solved by GAMS software, and simulation results show the efficiency of the proposed model in terms of offering flexibility to the operator so as to obtain various objectives considering diverse network situations.
