Superconductor/ferromagnetic semiconductor heteroepitaxial thin films of rock-salt rare earth monoxides LaO/EuO were deposited, in which EuO was semi-insulating. The EuO layer dominated the magnetization of the heteroepitaxial thin films. A 6 nm EuO layer fully suppressed the superconductivity of the LaO layer, probably as a result of large magnetization of EuO and/or high quality heteroepitaxial interface. In contrast, a 2 nm EuO layer partially suppressed the superconductivity of LaO.
