Adsorption behavior of Acid Black 210 (AB210) and Remazol Brilliant Blue R (RBBR) from aqueous solutions onto magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs) was studied. Affecting parameters such as solution pH, contact time, adsorbent amount, and initial concentration of the dyes on the adsorption process were studied. Analysis of the kinetic data indicated that the adsorption process follows pseudo-second-order kinetics. The adsorption equilibrium data were analyzed by Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. The adsorption capacities for AB210 and RBBR were 70.80 and 74.40 mg g(-1), respectively. This study suggested MNPs as effective and reusable adsorbent to remove the dyes from aquatic solutions.
