Prevalence and Psychiatric Risk Factors of Excessive Internet Use among Northern Bangladeshi Job-Seeking Graduate Students: A Pilot Study

Summary: Although internet addiction has been widely studied in many countries, this pilot study conducted in Bangladesh did not identify any cases of IA, but did find a proportion of excessive internet users. Risk factors for excessive internet use included spending more than 5 hours online daily and experiencing psychiatric conditions such as depression and stress.
