The tortricid Apotoforma sp. damaged leaves, floral sprouts, and fruits of blackberry cv. Brazos, in two plantations at Coatepec, Veracruz, Mexico. The parasitoids Bracon sp. and Apanteles sp. along with other biological control agents caused 40% parasitism. The presence of the leafroller may raise production costs, so research is required on the biology of the insect pest and the use of agricultural products authorized for its control.
