A new superfamily Panguoidea superfam. nov. is erected based on one new family, Panguidae fam. nov., with one new genus and species, Pangu yuangu gen. et sp. nov. In addition, one new species, Burmusculus magnus sp. nov. of Burmusculidae, is also described. Both of these two type specimens are from midCretaceous Myanmar (Burmese) amber. A key to species of Burmusculidae is provided. The new family Panguidae displays a contradictory array of features to further supplement the taxonomic and morphological characters of Apocrita.
