A concept of magnetic symmetry is used to show that centrosymmetric antiferromagnetic materials may exhibit linear flexomagnetic and flexoantiferromagnetic effects (magnetization induced by gradient of elastic stress or gradient of antiferromagnetic moment, respectively).
