Herein, we report the electrocatalytic activity of ZnCo2O4 (ZCo) NPs in the methanol oxidation reaction. Cubic shaped ZCo NPs were grown directly on nickel foam (NF) using a microwave-assisted synthesis method with heating at 180 degrees C for 15 min. The I-pc value for ZnCo2O4 NPs at 0.7 V was 222.3 mA cm(2). Cyclic voltammetry (CV) indicated that ZnCo2O4 NPs enhance the methanol oxidation reaction. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
