A review of blast furnace iron-making at Baosteel facilities

This paper introduces the reorganized China Baowu Iron and Steel Group. The ironmaking facilities at several plants within the Baosteel Group are described together with technical indexes related to high efficiency, low carbon production operations. A description is also presented of the world's first large blast furnace intelligence control centre aimed at monitoring and managing operations at blast furnaces located within different Baosteel facilities.
