Two novel polyoxovanadate-derived inorganic-organic hybrids were prepared by step-by-step modification via N-hydroxysuccinimide ester activation of a hexavanadate platform in this communication. Both the intermediate and products were structurally determined by IR, NMR, ESI-MS and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. This work provides a new vision for the synthesis of polyoxovanadate-based amino acids.
