In this study, NiCo2O4 with different morphologies were prepared by hydrothermal method and the corresponding of phase, microstructure and electromagnetic parameters were measured by XRD, SEM and vector network analyzer. The result indicated that the morphologies of NiCo2O4 can be easily adjusted by adding different kinds of active agent, and among those different morphologies of NiCo2O4, the tremella like NiCo2O4 has better absorbing properties, the minimum reflection loss (RL) can reach to -31 dB at 10.3 GHz, and the bandwidth was 3.2 GHz (RL < -10 dB) with the thickness of 2.2 mm.
