Lunar domes, which are distributed mainly in the lunar mare, were generated by lunar volcanism several billion years ago. In this context, identifying lunar mare domes and studying their morphological properties enhances the study of lunar volcanism. Traditionally, most lunar domes have been identified by manually analyzing images or topographic maps of the lunar surface; this approach has identified several lunar domes in specific local areas. To learn more about global lunar domes, it is necessary to identify them from the global lunar mare. In this paper, we present a method of identifying lunar domes using Chang'E-2 data. We demonstrate the identification of domes and analyze their morphological and geological properties.
