The present investigation aims at the green synthesis of copper oxides nanoparticles (G-CuO NPs) using Azadirachta indica plant extract for the first time by co-precipitation method, their physicochemical characterizations and antibacterial activity. The prepared NPs were characterized using x-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and Energy dispersive x-ray analysis (EDAX). The average particle size was found to be similar to 28-30 nm. The G-CuO NPs are noticed to show excellent antibacterial activities. The antibacterial activity performed against E. coli with different concentration of G-CuO NPs is observed with favorable biocompatibility.
