A preliminary inventory of the species belonging to macrofungal genera Lentinus and Panus within the Dja Biosphere Reserve and its periphery brings to light the identification of nine species; Lentinus cladopus, L. retinervis, L. sajor-caju, L. squarrosulus, Panus courtetianus, P. fasciatus, P. similis, P. fulvus and Panus cf. ciliatus. L. retinervis is recorded for the first time in Africa, and P. courtetianus is a new combination. An identification key and the main characteristics of Lentinus and Panus species of the Dja Biosphere Reserve are presented.
