Disperse Violet 26 is a commercially available fluorochrome used as an on-off fluorescent probe for the detection of ClO-, which is one of the biologically important reactive oxygen species (ROS), in HEPES : (CHCN)-C-3 = 1 : 1 (v/v pH = 7.0) with an excellent selectivity and sensitivity for ClO- compared to other analytes.
